About Green Jersey British & Continental Cycling Tours

We are a family-run company whose sole aim is to provide you with a great cycling holiday. We are extremely fortunate that many of our riders return year after year, but we still strive to do the very best we can. We ask for, and act upon, your feedback after your holiday.

Our aim is to provide a personal service that the larger operators simply cannot; we spent the first decade of our life specialising in France (one half of us in French!) and are now spreading our rides further afield slowly, whilst still offering the same attention to detail and meticulous planning that our riders have come to enjoy and expect.

Each route is carefully planned to offer you pleasant stops at coffee and lunch time and to arrive mid afternoon at your daily destination which is generally a small town or village of note; enough exercise to enjoy fabulous food and enough time to soak up the atmosphere of our wonderful itineraries.

We don’t just do our homework on the bike, but off it too. You will receive a detailed Green Jersey route book before your trip with directions, notes of interest and facts about the things you’ll see along the way to enhance your holiday experience. We stay in family-run hotels wherever possible and enjoy local cuisine and wines. Our knowledgeable and experienced guides accompany every trip to make sure your holiday goes with a swing.

Our tours are readily accessible from the UK with the majority having simple no-fly options, meaning less stress and more relaxation for you, and less impact on the environment. If you're travelling from further afield the French railway network connects directly with Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, meaning you can quickly get to your destination.

We consider ourselves very fortunate that over two thirds of our riders come back for more, and as we have grown we have added new routes to ensure that there is a good choice of holidays to choose from.
