Canal du Midi route launched

We are delighted to launch our Canal du Midi route for 2016. It is hard to overstate what a great engineering feat this waterway is, and our route takes you all the way from Toulouse to the Mediterranean to see it in its entirety. Enjoy a gentle ride along the flat, stopping to watch boats passing through locks, enjoy a coffee or glass of wine, or to admire the beautiful bridges and aquaducts that were at the cuttting edge of technology in 1680 yet still are in harmony with the landscape today. Follow the towpath and quiet lanes through vineyards passing through the amazing city of Carcassonne and a host of lovely small villages, finally passing the last set of lock gates and arriving at the Thau lagoon near Agde.

We are really excited about this route as we know you'll love it as much as we doas the slower pace of life has its effect and day to day stresses ebb away.
