Eurostar has dropped its controversial plans to force cyclists to box or bag their bikes before travelling on the cross-channel rail link.
"You will be pleased to know that we are not intending to go ahead with the requirement for all bikes to be carried in boxes and will accept fully-mounted bikes." said Eurostar's Head of EU Public Affairs Pierre Delalande.
This about-turn is good news for cyclists who can now continue to take a fully assembled bike on the train. Pre-booking is still a requirement.
