Our Bordeaux Superieur Tour passes all of the famous Bordeaux vineyards, including four of the five ‘First Growth’ chateaux, as set out in the 1855 classification. (Those four being Lafite-Rothschild, Margaux, Latour and Mouton-Rothschild).
In addition it passes many of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th growth vineyards in the famous wine villages of St Julian, St Estephe, Pauillac, and Marguax on the left bank of the Garonne which lie to the north west of Bordeaux.

This Bordeaux cycling tour also crosses the river and visits famous villages such as Pomerol (home to Chateau Petrus) and St Emilion, a lovely hilltop town of Roman origins with a church carved into a hill and home to Chateau Cheval Blanc, Ausone and many others.

It then goes on the pass what is undisputedly the most famous sweet white wine in the world, Chateau d’Yquem.
On the late September tour, there is every chance the grape harvest may be in full swing (although we cannot guarantee this!).
