Cycling the Loire Valley - Chateau Azay-le-Rideau

The chateau of Azay-le-Rideau is built on an island in the Indre River, where its foundations rise straight out of the water.
This chateau began construction in 1515 and is one of the earliest Renaissance chateaux.
We pass through on the last full day of our Loire Valley Classic tour and it's a perfect spot, sitting on the edge of a historic village with cobbled streets.
