Cycling St Malo and beyond

If you are planning to leave your car at home and explore France under your own steam on one of our French cycling holidays, finding your way to St Malo is a great start. The easiest option (if travelling from the UK) is to take the overnight ferry from Portsmouth to St. Malo, as it can be as low as £35 as foot passenger with bicycle. Cycling St Malo is a great start to many of our tours.

Alternatively you can fly to Dinard or Rennes. If flying into Paris you can take a train direct from Charles de Gaulle airport to Rennes and change there for St Malo. The journey time is around 3 to 3.5 hours and fares start at around €40 Euros if booked 3 months in advance; going up to €100 if booked the week before. So plan ahead to save a bit of money!
