Tour de France thoughts...

Bradley Wiggins has now done what no-other Englishman has done before. A superb performance, professional throughout.

Some have lambasted this tour as boring but for us it was anything but. Wiggins and Team Sky had a job to do and they stuck relentlessly to it. Even with the tour in the bag they worked for Cav to win his third on the trot on the Champs Elysees.

Could Froome have won? I guess we'll never know, but I'm not convinced he could have put enough into Wiggins to get over the time trial deficit he would have had.
