"hillIf you're not quite ready for Alpe d'Huez cycling, our Alsace and the Vosges tour is pretty hilly and probably has the greatest climbing rate per day.
The St Malo to Med trip is our longest, and also has the greatest overall climb in a tour and reaches the high point of the Massif Central, France’s forgotten mountain range in the middle of the country. Here we crest the Puy Mary (also known as the Pas de Peyrol) at 1588m. It gets hillier as you get further south, but by then you should have some fitness in the legs!
