Calais to Nice, a leisurely bike ride

The route starts in the flat Pas de Calais area before following river valleys as much as possible, including sections of the upper reaches of the Seine and Loire, before passing through Burgundy and on to the Rhone valley. From here it turns eastwards, leaving Mont Ventoux to one side, and goes through the beautiful Gorge de Verdon, before arriving in Nice.
